Congratulations to the 189 Australian undergraduate students who will study and undertake work placements in Thailand in 2017 under the Australian Government’s New Colombo Plan. We are excited that we will welcome the 500th NCP student to Thailand next year!

The students come from 19 Australian universities with a broad range of fields including Community Nursing, Earth Science, Economics, Engineering, Education, Urban Design and Regional Planning. The NCP also includes work placements, including a placement at Bangkok’s Metropolitan Waterworks Authority, a teaching placement at The Beaumont Ruam Pattana School in Chaiyaphum, and a clinical placement at Om Koi Hospital, Chiang Mai.
